SUCCESSFUL CANCER-FIGHTING PROGRAM

Daily Routine

First Task

To help my healing process I had to remove everything in my life that was causing me emotional stress or trauma. I ended all negative and energy-robbing relationships and let go with love, remembering the good times and the lessons learnt, and decided to keep only positive, beautiful energy in my life. You can do all of the healing therapies you like, but nothing will ever change until you remove the actual cause of your illness, whether it be a physical stress or an emotional burden that you have been carrying. Closing the door of negativity and bad energy in your life will allow a new door to open for you, full of vibrant health, creativity and divine love.

Upon Arising

Two glasses of lukewarm water squeezed with 1/2 fresh lemon or 1/2 fresh lime or 1 teaspoon of pure apple cider vinegar.

All Day

Throughout the day I drink 8 to 10 glasses of pure water to flush my system of internal and external body toxins.

Yoga/Exercise

Half an hour of yoga and stretching exercises every morning. In the morning I begin with energizing yoga postures, such as Salute to the Sun and the Triangle. If you have never practiced yoga or tai chi before, think about joining a class with a qualified instructor or simply purchase an instructional video. I also like to practice 10 minutes of creative imagery, meditation or dynamic healing exercises at the end of every session. Either before or after my yoga/meditation session, I walk briskly on the beach for 30 minutes daily and then take a quick dip in the ocean. If I am in a beautiful place (ocean, mountains) I also practice the deep breathing exercises.

MUSIC THERAPY FOR CANCER

Dancing to music is a wonderful method of keeping the body flexible and the spirit uplifted. Dancing to rhythms of the Middle East and Africa invites the body to move in ways that naturally strengthen and relax the pelvis and thighs. Dancing lowers the body’s armour of self-consciousness and inhibitions.

Learning to play a musical instrument is another method of incorporating music into your life. Tribal drums such as congas and bongos produce a very healing tone and tend to reconnect the player and listener with mother earth and nature. Percussion instruments produce music by impact, symbolizing rhythmic vitality and enhancing worship and meditation. They are easy to use and can be taken anywhere.

Go to the top of a mountain or a waterfall and drum to the natural rhythms and sounds of nature! In fact, you can use any instrument as an aid to meditation and healing. Bells and gongs are simple to use and tend to purify the surrounding atmosphere of negative energies and emotional debris. Finding out which instrument brings about this harmonious state in you can only be revealed by experiencing different sounds.

Chants are short and simple lines with little or no harmony and few words. Chants are repeated many times. Chanting is easy to do and very powerful. It is a regular part of many cultures, religions and teachings. One of the most effective chants is ‘Om’ (Aum). Om is believed to be the original sound of the universe; it is the beginning, the creative sound.

Chant ‘Om’ in a single, sustained note. Begin with the lips shaping an ‘ah’ sound. Slowly change to an ‘o’ sound and end with closed vibrating lips on a ‘mm’ humming sound. After a relaxed inhalation, repeat the ‘Om’ chant again. The ‘Om’ sound is made over and over as many times as you desire. ‘Om’ centres the being, creates energy and takes one’s soul closer to God. Other words used in chanting include love, care, peace, healing, one, God, joy and even your own name. Positive affirmations can also be repeated over and over, as a chant.

Music is inside everyone. It is totally free, with no rules and no harmful side effects. Music and sound are one of the greatest vehicles for transformation, healing and growth! The magic of music healing is that its methods and healing actions are available to everyone. Music does not discriminate between education, age, predetermined talent, sex or culture.

HERBAL TEAS AS REMEDIES CANCER TREATMENT

Green Tea (Camellia Sinensis)

Green tea is an ancient brew, traditionally used throughout Asia as an everyday beverage and health-promoting drink. Most Chinese or Japanese restaurants serve green tea as both a delicacy and cholesterol-lowering digestive aid.

A study conducted by the National Cancer Institute in the United States revealed that people who drank green tea regularly and who were also non-smokers decreased the chance of developing cancer of the oesophagus by 57 per cent in men and 60 per cent in women.

The main ingredients in green tea believed to be responsible for its amazing cancer-inhibiting action are polyphenols. In animals, polyphenols are believed to protect against cancer by stopping the production of enzymes that produce cancer-causing substances.

A chemical called epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) has also been isolated from green tea. It decreases cholesterol levels and is also thought to inhibit cancer growth. In particular, it may inhibit tumour promotion in the skin and the gastrointestinal tract and prevent lung and liver cancer. EGCG is a powerful ‘free radical’ scavenger that neutralizes harmful molecules that attack DNA and trigger cancer. Green tea is also believed to prevent stomach and lung cancer, caused by the known carcinogen, NDEA.

Another active health-promoting ingredient in green tea is theophylline, which works synergistically with the anti-cancer drug Chlorambucil to increase its chemical activity. The tannic acids found in green tea are believed to be effective both topically and internally against cancer.

What is the best way to use green tea?

• Herbal tea — Pour 1 cup of boiling water over 1 heaped teaspoon of Japanese or Chinese

Green Tea. Let sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Drink 3 times daily or after meals to break down

harmful fats in foods.

Horsetail Tea (Equisetum arvense)

In writings of the famous herbalist and nature cure promoter Abbe Kneipp, it is pointed out that horsetail tea arrests the growth of every tumour and slowly dissolves it. He states that horsetail herb is ‘uniquely irreplaceable and invaluable’ for bleeding, bladder and kidney disorders, and says, ‘For foul wounds, even cancer-like growths and ulcerated legs, horsetail is of great value. It cleanses, clears up and burns away everything bad, so to speak. Often the moist, warm plant is placed into moist cloths and applied to the affected parts’.

So why has such little notice been taken of this miracle herb? Nature, in its abundance and variety of miraculous healing plants, offers us the secrets to optimal health and natural healing. In places such as Guatemala, horsetail tea has long been traditionally used to treat and prevent cancer.

It is believed that horsetail tea used over a long period may inhibit the growth of tumours and possibly enhance their elimination from the body. This would also prove useful for polyps in the abdomen or anus area.

Horsetail tea is one of the richest sources of the mineral silica. Silica is fantastic for strengthening bones, hair, nails and skin. This ancient plant with its rich and diverse mineral content is also capable of enhancing healing of deep-seated lung damage.

What is the best way to use horsetail?

• Herbal tea – X liter of boiling water poured over 1 heaped teaspoon of horsetail herb. Let sit

for 10 to 15 minutes. Drink 3 cups per day, depending on your requirements.

• Poultice – a heaped double handful of horsetail herb is placed in a sieve and hung over boiling

water. When herbs are hot and soft, place in linen or cheesecloth and apply to affected area.

Keep warm.

• Pulp compress — fresh horsetail is washed well and crushed to a pulp on a wooden board,

then used as a compress.

AMINO ACIDS AND RELATED SUBSTANCES AGAINST CANCER: LAETRILE AND L-ARGININE

Laetrile

The use of laetrile as a healing agent is surrounded by controversy. Yet there appears to be much scientific proof of its efficiency. There exists a strong possibility that the pharmaceutical companies have launched a harmful propaganda campaign against laetrile due to their inability to patent it to sell. Laetrile is in the same category as formula’s such as essiac, perhaps the ultimate cure for cancer, but subjected to wide misinformation campaigns.

Laetrile is a glucoside also known as vitamin Â17, amygladin and nitrilosides. It is claimed to be extremely effective in the treatment of cancer, and may reduce the size of tumours and prevent their further spread. It is believed to reduce the pain associated with cancer.

The enzyme beta-glucosidase releases the tightly bound and unavailable toxins, benzaldehyde and organic cyanide from laetrile and allows them to swiftly wipe out cancerous tissues. Another enzyme, rhodanese, which has the ability to detoxify cyanide, is present in normal tissues but deficient in cancer cells. These two factors combine to cause a selective poisoning of cancer cells by the release of cyanide from laetrile, leaving healthy cells undamaged.

Independent research has proven that a Himalayan tribe known as the Hunza never contract cancer of any kind for as long as they adhere to their native diet. Their native diet is exceptionally high in both apricots and millet. Apricots and millet contain high amounts of laetrile. Once exposed to Western diets they become as vulnerable as other populations to cancer.

The scientist who discovered laetrile believes that cancer results as a direct deficiency of laetrile and carcinogens really just worsen cancer by placing further stress on the body.

Good sources of laetrile include apple (seeds), cherry (stones), peach stones, apricot (kernels), nectarine (stones), pear pips, lime pips, prune seeds, plum stones, elderberries, raspberries, currants, buckwheat, tapioca, millet, boysenberries, wild blackberries, gooseberries, almonds, macadamia nuts, flaxseeds, kidney beans, lima beans, alfalfa sprouts, lentils, chickpeas, mung bean sprouts and black-eyed beans.

L-Arginine

L-Arginine inhibits cellular proliferation (multiplication of cancer cells) and stimulates cancer-fighting T lymphocytes. It also stimulates the release of growth hormone, enhances collagen production, aids healthy fertility and lowers cholesterol levels, decreasing the risk of atherosclerosis.

L-Arginine is believed to block the formation of many forms of cancer. Research indicates it has the ability to stimulate the body’s thymus gland and increase the size of the thymus. L-Arginine stimulates the production of T-lymphocytes within the thymus and makes them more active and effective. It retards the growth of tumours and cancer by enhancing immune system function. It also enhances the removal of ammonia from the body and detoxifies the liver.

L-Arginine has the ability to increase the survival time of cancer patients.

Good sources of L-Arginine include alfalfa, cheese, chocolate, leeks, celery, wakame, radish, cucumber, potato, carrot, lettuce, and parsley.

VITAMIN SUPPLEMENTS TO PREVENT CANCER: FOLIC ACID

Folic acid is essential for the synthesis of DNA and RNA, the genetic material of cells. It plays a vital role in the growth and reproduction of all body cells, maintaining the genetic code, regulating cell division and transferring inherited characteristics from one cell to another.

Maintaining the health of our genetic material found within cells (DNA and RNA) is essential in preventing dangerous changes in cells that can lead to cancer formation. Unfortunately, folic acid deficiency is rife in most countries around the world and likewise the incidence of cancer is also rising. This is not to say that lack of folic acid is the cause of a higher rate of cancer in the world; more so, that a number of different nutrient deficiencies are reducing our body’s ability to cope with an overload of cancer promoters in today’s modern world.

Folic acid deficiency is the most common nutritional deficiency in the world. Diets low in vegetables, frequent alcohol and prescription drug use, and the sensitivity of folate to light and heat contribute to this widespread deficiency. When folate intake is inadequate, levels in serum fall, levels in red blood cells also fall, homocystine concentrations rise and finally, changes in the blood cell-producing bone marrow and other rapidly dividing cells occur.

Folic acid increases the body’s production of white blood cells and helps to defend against cancer. Cigarette smokers who have a high intake of foods rich in folic acid Eke dark green leafy vegetables are able to prevent injury to lung tissue and retard the development of lung cancer. Giving l0000mcg of folic acid and 500mcg of vitamin B12 daily may prevent pre-cancerous changes in bronchial tissue for regular tobacco smokers.

A deficiency of folic acid and vitamin B12 makes a person more susceptible to carcinogens. Folic acid protects against birth defects. It also protects against cancerous changes in cervix cells. Low levels of folic causes a woman to be more susceptible to human papilloma virus, which is believed to also cause cervical cancer. This condition tends to improve after being given folic acid. A deficiency of folic acid is associated with cervical dysplasia, a precursor of cancer of the cervix.

Research around the world suggests that there may be a connection between low folate levels and colon cancer. It is thought that men with a high alcohol, low folate and low protein diet are at a higher risk of developing colon cancer than men who consume low amounts of alcohol and who eat a diet rich in folate and protein.

Folic acid is found in most vegetables and fruits.
